Our first ever International Women’s Day celebration might just have set an impossibly high bar for all future Combat Collective events!
Led by the world’s greatest female grappler, ADCC World Champion Ffion Davies, and proudly supported by our partner Tropical Sun Foods, the event deliveredworld-class martial arts instruction and an unforgettable sense of empowerment.
Ffion guided participants through techniques like triangle submissions and hip tosses, helping the group develop essential tools for defending against larger and stronger opponents. After a short hydration break, courtesy of Tropical Sun Coconut Water, the Combat Collective crew: Claudia, Joana, Sofie and Molly, led a high-intensity striking session, sharpening powerful kicks and elbow strikes designed to stop would-be aggressors in their tracks.
Hosted by the amazing team at Bloodline Hackney, the day couldn’t have gone any better — and it finished in true Muay Thai fashion with a roundhouse-kick competition.
