4-week beginners summer camp — for complete beginners
We’re finally back
It’s back!
This is one of our most popular beginner courses, and it’s finally back. We’ve run it before at GFIT in Manchester with genuinely great feedback from the women who’ve done it — and now there’s a new four-week summer camp starting for anyone who’s been waiting for the right time to join.
If you’ve never trained before, this is built for you. If you tried once and didn’t stick with it, this is a good place to start again.

Meet Your Coach
Coach Gabbie — Gabbie leads the Manchester Beginners Course at GFIT.
“I started Muay Thai when I was 8 and I turned pro when I was 14, fighting in the UK and Europe. My mum passed away when I was 12 which made me more determined to continue Muay Thai as it was an outlet for me. I stopped when I was 19 to go travelling then came home and opened GFIT gym. Since then I have been running ladies only Muay Thai classes. I now have a daughter called Amaya and would love to be able to teach her Muay Thai as it is an all round amazing form of fitness, builds discipline & self defence and can give a lot of women a focus in tough times.”

Got questions? We’ve got you.
Frequently asked questions
Here are the answers to the things people ask us most.
Do I Need Any Experience?
No. This course is built for complete beginners, and plenty of women who’ve done it before had never trained at all.
Is It Really Women’s Only?
The course sessions are — every session on this course, coaches included, is women’s only. GFIT itself is a general gym rather than an exclusively women’s space, but this course runs as a women’s-only environment throughout.
Has This Course Run Before?
Yes — this is one of our most successful beginner courses, and it’s returning to Manchester because of how well it’s gone in the past.
What Should I Bring?
Gloves (8–12oz) and hand wraps — cloth wraps are preferable — plus water and comfortable workout clothes. Comment “Venum” on any of our Instagram posts and we’ll DM you a discount code to get kitted out before the course starts.
What’s Included?
All 8 sessions across the 4-week course, coaching from Gabbie and the GFIT team, and use of pads and bags at GFIT.
How Much Does It Cost?
£149 for the full 4-week course (8 sessions).
What Happens After the Course?
This course is designed as a first step, not a one-off. Once you finish your four weeks, we’ll let you know the best way to keep training at GFIT — you’ll already know the basics, the space, and some of the women you’ve trained alongside.
