Terms & Conditions

Through making a booking via this website with Combat Collective, you hereby acknowledge and understand that an agreement has been entered by you and Combat Collective, that you have read and understood the following terms and conditions fully: 

Payment terms 

There are 2 key options to pay for the retreat: full payment upfront or the payment as listed below. If you opt in for the payment plan, Combat Collective typically breaks it down into 3 payments. 

1st Payment: On the day of your enrollment, 20% of the retreat price will be taken as the first deposit payment. After your first payment, you have reserved a spot in our upcoming retreat- but this does not mean your spot is fully confirmed or guaranteed. 

2nd Payment: 30 days later, 40% of the retreat price will be taken. 

3rd Payment: Another 30 days later, the remaining 40% balance of the retreat price will be taken as your final payment for completion. 

• A payment link will be issued and sent to you for the 2nd and 3rd payment when it is due via email. Please note that it is up till the completion of full payment that validates your spot in our retreat. 
• If your booking is made within less than 30 days before the retreat dates, you will be required to submit the full payment amount to sign up. 
• If your booking is made within less than 3 months period leading up to the retreat, the 2nd and 3rd payment will be spread out proportionately (e.g. 15 days in between) under our arrangement for you which you will be notified. 
• If the final balance is not received by the stated due date, Combat Collective reserves the right to treat your booking as canceled and release your spot to the next guest on our waiting list. 

The price includes what is listed on the package and itinerary, including resort accommodation, trainings, certain meals and activities. This price does not include your travel to and from the treat and your own insurance packs. 

Cancellation/ Refund policy 

We understand that unexpected events can happen that affect your plans. 

Full payment refund: If you have paid the retreat in full upfront, and you wish to cancel 12 weeks prior to the retreat date, a refund can be issued to you if you email us via info@combatcollective.co.uk  

Payment plan: If you have opted in our payment plan, the deposit/ 1st payment is non-refundable. If you wish to cancel and have made payment other than the deposit, that amount is refundable if you cancel 12 weeks prior to the retreat date. 

Any cancellation received with less than 12 weeks notice is non-refundable. Once the retreat has started, no refund or part-refund will be repaid in the event of cancellation or non-attendance. There are also no refunds for late arrival/ early departure/ any unused portion of the retreat. 

Travel & Insurance 

As this retreat includes combat sport and fitness exercises, we require every guest to purchase their own personal accidental and medical insurance upon signing up. 

We also highly recommend you purchase travel insurance for the entirety of your trip. Combat Collective shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the travel companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel. 

Please take your insurance policies with you on the Retreat. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover you purchase is suitable and adequate for your particular needs. Combat Collective reserves the right to refuse guests for training or activities if you did not carry medical insurance. 

Combat Collective and its business partners (i.e. BangTao Muay Thai) do not assume responsibility for accidents or deaths linked to the participants’ negligence, acts of third parties or circumstances such as natural occurrences, extreme weather or similar causes. 

Medical conditions & Special requirements 

You must inform us on our questions form of any medical/ mental/ physical conditions, pregnancy, disability, current medication- which could affect your fitness to travel or your state/ participation throughout this Retreat. Please also feel free to notify and speak to our representatives or coaches upon arrival for their attention and special guidance. We will ensure all such information is kept confidential and try our best to accommodate your medical conditions and fitness level. 

For those with special dietary requirements, please ensure this is reflected on our questions form and highlight your case to resort/ restaurant staff whenever necessary. We will liaise with the resort and relevant restaurants to meet your requests at our very best, yet Combat Collective is not liable to absolutely provide for all requests raised. 

Participation in activities

As much as we would wish for you to participate in as many training or activities, it is under your complete discretion to access and decide which to attend. Please take note that certain activities such as Hype Boat / Yona Beach Club would be a long day trip out in the sea and sun, and could impact those who suffer from motion sickness. (I.e. Relevant medicine is provided on the boat) 

Please make your own sound judgment as to whether you are comfortable and willing to commit to activities as such, and raise any pressing concerns to our representatives if any. 

Photography/ Filming/ Content Creation 

You may be photographed or filmed (by potentially a male professional photographer)  in training and group activities throughout the retreat, for our use in marketing materials, our website or social media. If you do not consent to be included and featured in these images/ videos, please state and highlight this in our questions form after signing up. Please also make clear to our representatives upon arrival at the retreat. Otherwise your permission is granted to Combat Collective to perpetual and world wide use of such images or videos on public platforms and promotional purposes. 

Exceptions to female-only environment 

Whilst Combat Collective is a women’s only community, there will be male presence in circumstances or locations such as male coaches at BangTao gym, employed professional photographer/ videographer, public spaces of the Resort, beach, restaurants, beach club, Hype Boat etc. Please be aware the entirety of these venues is not booked by- or exclusive for Combat Collective only, hence inevitably other males could be present from a distance. 

Participants enrolled onto our Retreat are females only, whilst we strive to create an enclosed females-only environment as much as possible throughout. 

Amendment/ Changes 

Combat Collective and BangTao Muay Thai reserve the right to make changes to services, terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. We will inform and update all guests throughout the Retreat  on any amended itineraries, timings or classes. 

We began planning all Retreat details as offered months in advance hence we reserve such right to amend activities at any time given major circumstances such as weather conditions, strikes, accidents, war or other causes. 

We also reserve the right to cancel confirmed bookings at any time. For instance, if the minimum number of sign ups required is not reached we may have to cancel and inform you as soon as possible. We will however offer you the possible options of changed arrangement, alternative future retreats or a refund.  

Passports, Visas and Health Documents 

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of all essential travel and health documents before departure. We regret we cannot accept liability if you are refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to failure on your part to carry contact documentation. If failure to have any necessary travel or other documents results in fines, surcharges or other financial penalty being imposed on us, you will be responsible for reimbursing us accordingly.

Data Protection and Privacy 

Combat Collective will use your respective personal information (Name, contact information, region, age, health conditions, special/ dietary requirements etc.) for general planning, and also share such information to business partners (BangTao Muay Thai) or organisations (E.g. Resort, Hype Boat) involved in our Retreat. By completing our questions form, you consent to your information being shared- and we will ensure all your personal data is protected and kept confidential.
