Membership/courses and drop-ins Terms & Conditions
Combat Collective is a community that strives to encourage and empower women from taking up combat sports. These terms (‘Terms’) and conditions are to be agreed between Combat Collective Ltd. (‘We’, ‘Our’, ‘Us’) and you when you purchase and participate in any of our classes/ activities. By continuing with your enrollment, you confirm that you understand and accept all the terms below. Acceptance of your enrolment and any subsequent withdrawal of your participation/ attendance in our classes are at Our complete discretion.Payment
· You must pay according to our price stated via our platform. Payment is to be made online beforehand only, we do not accept any cash payments.
· If the relevant enrolment is a training program/ package, all members will be notified towards the end of the program about the start of a new one (if any).· We recognise that your plans or circumstances can change. If you wish to cancel your enrolment to our class/ program, please ensure you notify us firstly via info@combatcollective.co.uk.
· We permit refunds up to 50% of your paid amount upon cancellation. To get a 50% refund, this needs to be done 14 days in advance of the class date/ start date of our program. We do not provide a refund after such cancellation period.
· If you can no longer attend our class/ program, there is also an available option to transfer your spot to another recipient, please do email us via info@combatcollective.co.uk in regards to this transfer of spot – CC the new relevant participant with their (i) Full name (ii) email address (iii) contact number. Please also arrange the transfer of fees between you and the relevant party on your own terms.
· The last available option upon your unavailability, only applicable to our intensive programs (e.g. Introduction/ Foundation courses), would be to transfer your spot to the next start date of an equivalent program. We however reserve the right to the final decision on such transfer or new arrangement, please email us via info@combatcollective.co.uk for discussion with sufficient notice.
Your responsibilities
· By signing up to our classes/ events, you are deemed to be fit and healthy to participate. You are responsible for monitoring your own physical and mental condition throughout your participation in our class/ event.
· If you have major concerns about your health and fitness levels, you should seek appropriate medical advice from a professional before signing up/ attending Our class.
· In the event of any unusual symptoms and incidents occurring, you should inform our coach(es) immediately.
· You shall use the facilities in any venue/ gym we host our events at, in the correct manner hence never in a manner that constitutes any health and safety risk to yourself or others.
· If you bring personal belongings onto the facility, We do not undertake to keep them safe and it is under your responsibility to store them in lockers (available) or safe spaces under your own supervision. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to your belongings caused by any other member or visitor to the facility.
Our responsibilities
· We may review and amend these terms at any time. We will use reasonable endeavours and time to inform you of significant changes to these Terms with notice. (e.g. Timing, venue changes, train strikes, coach changes) Notifications will be sent through the email address or contact number you provided, our website or social media platforms.
· We reserve the right to reject any enrolment for classes at our complete discretion, or expel you from a class if you fail to comply with these Terms listed and/or the terms of the partnership facility. Refunds will not be granted where the participant is in breach of any terms.
· All our partnered coaches/ instructors are professional and appropriately qualified to lead and conduct Our classes. However they will not provide any medical advice.
· We will not be held liable for the loss, damage or theft of any of your personal belongings.
Exceptions to a female-only environment
· Whilst We are a women’s only community, there could be male presence in circumstances or locations such as male coaches at our partnership gyms/ facilities, employed professional photographer/ videographer, reception staff or cleaners etc. Please be aware the entirety of these venues is not booked by- or exclusive for Combat Collective only, hence inevitably other males could be present from a distance.
Photography/ Video-recording
· You may be photographed or filmed (by potentially a male professional photographer) in training and group activities throughout the class for our use in marketing materials, our website or social media. If you do not consent to be included and featured in these images/ videos, please reach out and also make clear to our coaches upon arrival at the facility.
· Otherwise your permission is granted to Combat Collective to perpetual and potential use of such images or videos on public platforms and promotional purposes.
Data protection
· Your personal information provided through Our website will be held and used in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) under the Data Protection Act 2018. We are aware that the privacy of your information is very important to you, hence we will be mindful about the information we require from you to process orders, and to provide you with notifications/ newsletters/ promotional materials which may be of interest to you.
· As the data controller of your personal data, we are responsible for upholding your privacy rights, including your right to access your data. If you would like to ask for it to be rectified, erased or its use to be restricted, by complying with Data Protection Legislation, you can contact us via info@combatcollective.co.uk.
